A record breaking dance and a blockbuster break on Crete

Over on Crete the locals have been having a ball while attempting to enter the Guinness Book of Record with the world’s longest dance.

A human chain of 150,000 dancers in traditional Greek costume Zorba’d their way along the road from Hania to Lasithi recently, cheered on by enthusiastic crowds of tourists.

If you missed that particular piece of history in the making, you can console yourself with the chance to star in a great new blockbuster. ‘The Inbetweeners’, the popular Channel Four series about a group of young college students, is due to hit the big screen and, last we heard, filming has now started on Crete.
