KLM adds new flight between Bristol and Amsterdam
Bristolians wishing to sample Amsterdam’s famous laid back approach will soon be able to do so up to four times a day thanks to an extra KLM flight planned for spring 2011.
The additional service between Bristol and Amsterdam is being launched by KLM on 27th March and is designed to cater for a growing demand for flights between the two cities from both business and leisure travellers.
It’s hoped that the increased frequency will further cement Bristol Airport’s position as one of KLM’s UK hub airports as well as helping them to meet the travel needs of the region’s diverse population.
As well as adding a fourth flight to their daily schedule, KLM have also revised the times of the existing three flights between Bristol and Schiphol. The new flight times are designed to offer passengers greater scope for connecting with longhaul flights to other destinations – something which Schiphol has in abundance with over 800 routes to every conceivable corner of the globe.
The new flights will depart Bristol at 06.10, 08.55, 14.15, and 17.10, and will take approximately an hour and 20 minutes.
