New Dublin and US link for Bristol
Sampling a proper pint of Guinness just got that bit easier for those living in the South West, thanks to a new Aer Lingus route linking Bristol and Dublin.
The new service will depart three times a day from Bristol, offering a choice of morning, afternoon and evening flights. The service is aimed at both business flyers and tourists, and it’s hoped that the fast and frequent link will open up new tourism opportunities for both cities.
As well as making new Irish destinations available to travellers from Bristol, the new route will also enable passengers to connect with Aer Lingus flights to the United States from Dublin. With no longhaul flights currently available from Bristol to destinations in the US, the new service will provide an exciting opportunity for people to cross the Atlantic right from their own doorstep.
Aer Lingus currently link the Irish capital with New York, Boston, Chicago and Dublin. Passengers connecting on these flights from Bristol will also be able to benefit from the special immigration arrangements that the Irish have with US customs - saving time and hassle by arriving in the US as domestic passengers.
Bristol to Dublin flights are available from aerlingus.com with fares starting from £19.99 one way including taxes.
